We sat outside with this incredible view. The curry carrot soup and seafood club sandwich were fabulous. The crab cakes were overly breaded and cooked too much... could hardly find any crab. But the overall experience is highly recommended

Out for a night on the town, we went to Yale Town. Hamilton Street has one fun restaurant after another. We went to Coast and had the terrific seafood sampler:
two pieces of sashimi, smoked salmon, a lobster spring roll, 2 shrimp croquettes, two oysters, clams, muscles, a huge shrimp, and a lobster claw with some salad.
The menu says that there is a two serving minimum but we talked the manager into letting us have the platter for one - and that was plenty to share between Cindy and I.
Just a NOTE: The Blue Water Cafe on Hamilton Street has a bottle of wine for $6,400... who can you imagine ordering THAT?

We had some fabulous items this week. We had the Veg Julie (see my first post) and the Carmel, which was named after Caroline and her friend Melissa; it's a roll with shrimp tempura, avocado, cucumber and topped with unagi and ebi... yummmmm! We also had one of the specials, the Maguro Tataki which is seared red tuna topped with ponzu sauce and tobiko served on a delicious bed of onions.
